Things appear to have gotten out of hand. No matter how it looks to you, it’s totally under control; besides, you aren’t the one who needs to be worrying. Too many other things are more important than whatever you think you owe to so-and-so. It’s OK to be vigilant about your motives but you got over questioning them a long time ago. At this point it looks like you’re in a position to correct the situation so don’t start wimping out or giving people the benefit of the doubt. If you just stay true to yourself, this craziness will morph into something totally cool.
